INCIDENT SUMMARY

 

 

On 12 September 2019 at approximately 22:43 hours, emergency services were notified of a male body discovered in a parking structure beneath Calthorpe Mews residential complex. Initial responding officers observed blunt force trauma to the occipital region and visible blood pooling beneath the victim’s head.

 

No weapon was recovered at the scene.

 

CCTV cameras covering the south stairwell were non-functional between 21:58–23:12 hours due to reported “maintenance error.”

 

Cause of death (provisional): Severe cranial trauma consistent with repeated impact by heavy blunt instrument.

 

Toxicology: Negative for narcotics. BAC 0.02%.
